At La pietra antica O’ munti restaurant in Puntalazzo, we invite you to discover the true taste of Sicily, through home cooking that is simple, genuine and of quality.

Our “Antipasto du Munti” is a triumph of freshness, prepared with seasonal vegetables grown in our garden and from local farms. There is no shortage of typical dishes such as caponata and our arancino du’ Munti, an explosion of Sicilian flavours.

The first courses are an authentic tribute to the Sicilian tradition: the pasta dishes are handmade fresh pasta and even the classic “maccarruni” are hand-ironed to offer you a truly unique taste experience.

Main courses range from barbecued meat, such as succulent meatballs in lemon leaf, sausage and mutton, but also our delicious falsomagro, sweet and sour rabbit and capocollo with porcini mushrooms and Etna apples flavoured with Nerello Mascalese, the most local among the Etnean wines.

We pair each dish with the house red wine and for the most discerning palates we offer a well-stocked wine list with a selection of local and regional wines from the best Sicilian wineries, especially from Etna.
